How do I use a thread template?

Check out templates of common threads we've created to give you inspiration and make it easier for you to start collaborating with your team.

When you use a template, you can customize it to create the thread you need right there. It’ll automatically be saved in your Drafts until you post it.

The templates you can use are:

  • Kick off a project
  • Ask a question
  • Share an update
  • Share a proposal
  • Make a decision
  • Document a new process
  • Get feedback on your work
  • Get updates from team
  • Give product feedback
  • Share goals
  • Share meeting notes
  • Update on metrics

To use a template:

  • Click Start a thread
  • Go to to the Screen_Shot_2019-10-30_at_5.53.08_PM.png book icon at the bottom of the thread composer
  • Take a look at the available templates and choose one
  • Edit your thread right there and press Back to save it as a draft or Post to post it when you’re ready to share your thread
